Patti Bergtold opened the original Lacies of Sherman in June, 1984 at Kelly Square, a landmark building on Sherman's historic downtown square. When the third floor location became a challenge for some customers to navigate, Patti decided to relocate to a more central location at Tate Plaza, near the Midway Mall.

Manager Darlene Tibbetts has been an integral part of the Lacies team for noarly 15 years. Bringing a lifetime of retail experience. Darlene manages the day-to-day operations of the bricks and mortar location.

Patti's son, Timothy, joined the team in 2006 and immediately set out to remodel the store and create a customer-friendly online presence. Lacies has nearly doubled its lingerie inventory and added hundreds of new items to the alternative adult toy line.

Starting in December 2009, Lacies Online Store will become an important partner in development of the single largest database of adult products in the world - Making more than 12,000 items available to shoppers at fair prices every day.
